Jaz Miu (Jaz Mishap) is a Chinese-Australian public artist and spatial designer based in Naarm (Melbourne). In her multidisciplinary practice she designs and creates large-scale murals installations with integrated bespoke lighting, transforming architecture into immersive works that live differently by day and by night.

Her permanent public commissions include four-storey works for the City of Melbourne (Drewery Alley) and the City of Greater Geelong (Union Street), alongside collaborations with Asics, Mazda, and Sneaker Freaker.

Her practice centres on expressive female characters, drawing on cultural identity, motherhood, and a deep responsiveness to site. Years of working with diverse and neurodivergent communities shape how she designs, with close attention to how people experience and connect with each work.

Trained in interior design (RMIT), fine art, and community services, Jaz moves between raw expression and considered spatial design.
